Amenities and Activities
The Calabogie area offers a number of outdoor activities for nature lovers. The pristine lake and surrounding landscape offers a magnificent natural playground!
The Resort watercraft, weather permitting, will be in the lake as of May 17, 2019.
The ice has just left the bay and due to recent flooding the dams are open causing currents! Please understand that the temperature of the lake must be warm to prevent hypothermia.
We suggest using the Barnet Park boat launch when you are ready to place your watercraft in the water. It is directly across the bay from the Resort and well set up for all boat types. We have designated watercraft slips available. Please call ahead to reserve your spot as it is on a first come, first serve basis. Due to the steady decline in requests in the past years; we have an average of 6 watercraft per week or less. 6 spots are available each week. One per unit: The boat slips are ‘use at your own risk’, we are not responsible for bumpers, ropes or secure attachment. The Resort is not liable for your watercraft in the event of damage or theft. It is the sole responsibility of the guest to ensure watercraft are anchored securely. Trailer parking is available at a designated area; inquire at the Reception Desk.
Urban Sports is now open ! Rent, purchase or check out the sports equipment available! Located on Calabogie Rd and the corner of Mill St. Check out the pontoon boat at our dock; ready for you to rent! www.urbanford.ca (613) 623-7344
Enjoy a rousing game of tennis on our private tennis court. Due to weather, our resurfacing has been on hold. We are looking forward to the new tennis & pickle ball court in the near future!
If you are a mountain biker and love to ride the trails, for insurance purposes, we suggest you bring your own equipment. Be safe!
We have a dedicated, easy accessible area where all bbq’s are under one roof . For some, this may be an inconvenience as it may not be near their villa. Management has made this decision due to the unnecessary abuse of the equipment, such as leaving the tank turned on, leaving the flame on; lid down (fire hazard) and guests moving them from one location to another. We may consider another location for bbq’s for summer 2019. We no longer offer the use wire brushes on the bbq’s; wooden paddles are available.
Calabogie Highlands a 18-hole golf course and Calabogie Peaks 9- hole, are minutes from the resort. Other courses are in a radius of a 45-minute drive. Calabogie Highlands Golf
