The Township of Greater Madawaska offers numerous hiking & snowshoeing trails for all skill levels and has emerged as one of Ontario’s Premiere hiking destinations.

FISHING

Fishing is fantastic in township of Greater Madawaska.  Walleye (pickerel, dore), northern pike, small and large mouth bass, yellow perch, brown bullhead, channel catfish, rock bass and trout.

Calabogie, Black Donald, Centennial and Norcan Lake are popular fishing spots.  The township also offers hundreds of smaller, more remote lakes throughout the area.
